ECOFEL has successfully concluded its workshop on Risk-Based Supervision for AML/CFT purposes, delivered in collaboration with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO Economic Cooperation and Development), Tunisian Financial Analysis Committee- CTAF, and the Institute of the Central Bank of Tunisia (IBCT).
đź“… Held in Tunis from 30 September to 2 October 2026, the workshop connected representatives from Tunisian Financial Analysis Committee- CTAF, the Central Bank Of Tunisia, the Financial Market Council (CMF), the General Insurance Committee (CGA), and the Microfinance Supervisory Authority (ACM).
đź§© Through interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and hands-on group exercises, participants strengthened their ability to:
• Assess institutional risks and test the effectiveness of mitigating controls;
• Choose and calibrate the right supervisory tools;
• Set the scope of on-site inspections and build risk-based transaction samples;
• Turn inspection findings into clear, actionable remediation plans; and
• Strengthen cooperation and information exchange between the FIU and supervisory authorities.
