Job Opportunity – Instructional Designer – ECOFEL Certification Program

ECOFEL Seeks Instructional Designer to Support Global Learning Initiatives

The Egmont Centre of FIU Excellence and Leadership (ECOFEL) is seeking an Instructional Designer for a one-year term position with the possibility of extension.

Working as part of the ECOFEL team, the successful candidate will help develop engaging and interactive eLearning experiences that support Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) around the world. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to professional development and knowledge-sharing initiatives that strengthen the global fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crimes.

Created in 2018, ECOFEL serves as the Egmont Group’s centre for excellence in training, leadership, and professional development. Through initiatives such as the ECOFEL Certification Program, the Centre supports FIUs in building the knowledge, skills, and capacities needed to meet their important domestic and international responsibilities.

The Instructional Designer will work closely with subject matter experts and project teams to transform complex technical content into dynamic online learning experiences. Responsibilities include designing and developing online courses, creating multimedia learning assets, applying best practices in adult learning and instructional design, and leveraging modern learning technologies to deliver high-quality educational products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design and eLearning development, strong writing and communications skills, and proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate 360. Experience with learning management systems, multimedia development, and innovative learning technologies is considered an asset.

This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with an international team dedicated to supporting the global FIU community.
