The ECOFEL team is pleased to announce the launch of the new COVID-19 Emerging Risks course.
Designed to provide Financial Intelligence Units with COVID-19 related guidance, this course is ECOFEL’s first dynamic course. This course will be consistently updated as new information on COVID-19 related crimes and emerging risks from around the globe becomes available.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, criminals are exploiting the crisis by adapting their modes of operation or developing new criminal activities. Various fraud and scam schemes and other crimes have been reported by FIUs and law enforcement. With this in mind, ECOFEL has created the COVID-19 Emerging Risk course to highlight various key research findings, COVID-19 crimes and challenges, recommendations and additional sources of information available to FIUs.
