The ECOFEL is proud to announce the launch of the Countering Terrorist Financing training!
This training module will provide learners with an understanding of the methods, practices and tools that FIUs can employ to detect, deter and prevent terrorist financing.
By the end of this course, learners will:
– Gain an improved understanding of how financial intelligence plays a role in the countering of terrorist financing;
– Learn about the tools and practices that can help practitioners reinforce their financial investigations into terrorist financing; and
– See how strategic intelligence analysis can apply to terrorist financing and discover examples of trends and patterns of terrorist financing.
The course is a result of a strong partnership established with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC-CANAFE), whose experts developed the specialized content to support FIUs in the global endeavour to combat terrorist financing.
