This week, Egmont Group Executive Secretary, Jerome Beaumont, had the pleasure of meeting with AMLA leadership, represented by Chair, Bruna Szego, and Executive Board Members, Hennie Verbeek-Kusters, and Juan Manuel Vega. This meeting provided very productive discussions on areas of mutual interest, including opportunities to strengthen cooperation, build synergies, and support future capacity-building efforts.
International collaboration remains essential to enhancing the global fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, and related threats. We look forward to continued engagement between our organizations and exploring new avenues for cooperation.
