Important update for delegates
Registration for the Virtual Assets Regulation, Investigation and Enforcement Training Symposium is open until 23 March 2026. Please note that a limited number of seats remain.
We are pleased to confirm that the Symposium will proceed as planned. The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union continues to carry out its work as scheduled.
The Symposium venue has been relocated to the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol.
As host, FIU Cyprus will ensure that the appropriate safety measures are arranged for the event including continuing to monitor developments closely and will remain in close coordination with the relevant national authorities, EU institutions and Member States, while making any adjustments that may become necessary.
While recent disruptions to commercial flights have been resolved and flight operations have been re-established, in view of the current situation in the Middle East, participants are advised to book flexible flight tickets as a precaution. Participants are also encouraged to reserve accommodations at the hotels indicated in the Registration Portal or to opt for flexible accommodation bookings. Please note that, should the situation deteriorate and should the host be forced to reschedule the event at a later date, the Egmont Group will bear no liability for the cost of non-refundable tickets or hotel bookings.
Please do not hesitate to contact the host, FIU Cyprus, should you have any questions. We look forward to welcoming participants to Cyprus and thank you for your continued engagement and cooperation.
