The Egmont Group Secretariat (EGS) was honoured to host Mr. Zhanat Elimanov, Chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FMA), Mr. Ulan Raissov, First Deputy Chairman of the FMA and Egmont Regional Representative for the Eurasia Region, along with two representatives from FIU Kazakhstan, on December 11, 2025. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to reinforce collaboration, review upcoming projects and initiatives within the Working Groups and ECOFEL, share perspectives on regional priorities, and explore strategies to enhance information sharing and capacity building among member FIUs.
